Yayy for Indian wedding season! There is no better opportunity to glam up in your gorgeous outfits – and complementing the stunning outfits with flattering makeup completes the perfect Indian look!
Here’s giving you a rundown of one of my favourite makeup looks from this wedding season:
To complement my coral peachy coloured dress, I went for a brown crease shadow named Awe, and added a pop of colour on the lid named Bazaar! Both the colours are from Tarte Limited-Edition Treasure Box Collector’s Set. I intensified the colour on the lid by spraying my applicator brush with MAC’s Prep and Prime Spray. Lined the eyes with Tarte’s Tarteist™ Double Take Eyeliner which is my absolute favourite black eyeliner – intensely black and amazing formula and also has a kajal on the other end! Mascara is Burberry Cat Lashes which gives the lashes a gorgeous non-clumpy feathered look.
To prep the skin – I used Guerlain’s beautiful L’Or Primer. This contains pure 24 k gold flakes, and is an absolute luxury to use. Using a primer works really well to smooth out the pores on the skin, and give some longevity to the makeup.
On to foundation – I used Dior’s Diorskin Airflash foundation which is a medium to full coverage foundation. This foundation comes in a spray bottle type of packaging which I spray directly on to my real techniques foundation brush and apply evenly across the face. I enjoy using this foundation – the finish is natural/radiant and the coverage is perfect for my skin’s needs. I have combination skin, and this foundation sets well and doesn’t cake up. I am enjoying using this!
I went over the undereye area and any other blemishes with my trusted NARS radiant creamy concealer.
All other face additions – a bit of bronzer, blush, and highlight are by Tarte Treasure Box Collector’s Set. I really loved this collection as a one-stop-shop for most of your eye and face makeup needs! The pigment is wonderful, and the collection is super handy to use.
Unfortunately this was limited edition, but I would recommend keeping a lookout for such sets in the future as they are absolutely value for money. The Tarte Limited-Edition Treasure Box Collector’s Set was $60 and came with 24-piece eyeshadow palette, 2 bronzers, 2 blushes, 1 highlighter powder, a full-sized black eyeliner, and travel-sized mascara and matte liquid lipstick.
For lip colour, I went with my favourite nude but better lip colour – Del Rio by MAC. This is a satin finish lipstick, which works perfectly as my nude lip colour.
The final touch was a spray of my MAC prep and prime to set all the powders on the face. and a bindi of course!
